Agreement

By creating an account or using SowAndSpoon ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SowAndSpoon.

Not medical advice

The information provided by SowAndSpoon -- including crop prep guidance, age recommendations, allergen introduction timelines, and choking risk labels -- is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from your pediatrician, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Every child is different. Before introducing new foods, especially if your child has a known allergy, a medical condition, or was born prematurely, consult your healthcare provider. SowAndSpoon does not know your child's individual health history.

Choking is a serious risk. Age guidance on this app is a general reference. Always supervise your baby while eating, prepare foods to the appropriate texture for your child's specific development, and follow guidance from your pediatrician or a certified feeding specialist.

Food safety

Prep guidance in this app is not a substitute for proper food handling and safety practices. Follow USDA and FDA guidelines for washing, storing, and preparing produce. SowAndSpoon is not responsible for any illness resulting from food preparation or consumption.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your login link or session with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.

Subscriptions and payment

• The free tier allows up to 5 garden crops. Additional features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Prices are displayed before purchase.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period -- you retain access until then.
• We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Your content

You own the data you enter (crop logs, food logs, notes). By using the Service, you grant SowAndSpoon a limited license to store and process that data in order to provide the Service. We do not use your personal content for any other purpose.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content in the app, including crop preparation guidance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SowAndSpoon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any harm resulting from food preparation, allergic reactions, or choking incidents. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by using our contact form. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where SowAndSpoon is registered.
